Despite only playing in six games last season due to a broken ankle, Warner remains the NFL's best linebacker, because he plays the position almost perfectly. Against the run, the four-time All-Pro has great instincts and the athleticism to make unblocked tackles near the line of scrimmage. He also uses his hands well to disengage when forced to take on blocks. In coverage, Warner's acceleration and speed allow him to be effective at clicking and closing in his area, while displaying elite range to help teammates or cover up missed tackles. Additionally, he brings excellent ball skills to the position, with 56 career passes defended over eight seasons.
