Joe Burrow established himself as a top-five quarterback in the league early in his career. The Bengals star signal-caller has battled injuries, which keep him off the field more than anyone would like. In 2025, Burrow suffered a Grade 3 turf toe injury in Week 2 against the Jaguars, which required surgery and kept him sidelined until Week 13. When he's healthy and on the field, Burrow is among the best, most accurate passers in the league. He has excellent ball placement and touch. Justin Herbert once again demonstrated why he belongs among the NFL's elite quarterbacks. He led the Los Angeles Chargers to an 11-5 record and another playoff appearance. He finished the season with 3,727 passing yards, 226 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions despite the injuries around him. Herbert combines elite arm talent, advanced pocket feel, and plus-level athleticism to consistently create big plays while maintaining offensive efficiency. His worst plays came under pressure, when he threw interceptions and bad passes. Herbert's performance in 2025 continues to validate him as a premier NFL passer capable of elevating the roster around him.

A scouting category often used when evaluating quarterbacks is trucks and trailers. Every NFL franchise would prefer a truck, but there are more trailers, and trucks are rare to find. Josh Allen is one of the best "trucks" in the NFL. He is built like a Ford F-250 with enough open-field speed and agility as a runner to extend plays and break the defense's back on key downs. Allen has elite arm talent in every sense of the word. His right arm is a weapon that can access the entire field, driving the ball into near-impossible windows and using the launch codes for deep vertical shots to his receivers. Allen is the total physical package as a quarterback, which helped him win an MVP recently. That said, he pressed at times last year, made poor decisions with the football, and turned it over. He's a franchise-changing quarterback in the conversation for best in the league.

Matthew Stafford is battling a lingering back injury and Father Time as he enters Year 18. But he still excelled on the field in 2025, throwing for over 4,700 yards, 46 touchdowns and eight interceptions on his way to winning league MVP. Stafford is one of the best at the line of scrimmage, making checks and calls based on the defensive coverage pre-snap. At this stage of his career, Stafford possesses immense arm talent. He can drive the ball with velocity, push it downfield on vertical throws and layer passes over defenders. His accuracy and ball placement remain strengths, while he is limited in the athletic and mobility departments.
